Preaching with Passion

This course is an analysis and application of public speaking to varied cultures and people groups. Historical figures will be studied to learn past speaking techniques and how to approach present and future generations with culturally relevant materials.

The course is an analysis and application of public speaking to varied cultures and people groups. Historical figures will be studied to learn past speaking techniques and how to approach present and future generations with culturally relevant materials.

Course Objectives

Upon the successful completion of this course the student should be able to:

1. Speak effectively and efficiently to an audience of diverse groups and cultures.
2. Convey, equate and apply the Gospel in a spirited and evangelistic fashion to the audience.
3. To evaluate an audience and use pertinent and precise methods to bring individuals to Christ.

Off-Site Course

This is an off-site, self-study course that will utilize a variety of teaching methods which include:

• Preaching with Passion Workbook
• DVD Lectures
• Tragedy to Triumph Program Message Board student participation
